New Year's Reception 2024
Foreign representations in Denmark and Danish cultural stakeholders with an interest in the international cultural collaborations are invited to a New Year's Reception and Networking Event
For the event, we will celebrate Danish cultural engagement abroad and take the opportunity to discuss the direction and trends for international cultural collaborations in 2024. The New Year's Reception will also serve as a networking hub for Danish actors from all sectors of the arts and culture, as well as for foreign representations in Denmark.
In addition to insights from the Secretariat for International Cultural Collaboration at the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, perspectives from various industry stakeholders will be presented, including:
- Lina Gandløse, State Secretary for Trade and Global Sustainability, Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Prof. Dr. Pascal Hector, Ambassador of German to Denmark
- Signe Lopdrup, CEO, Roskilde Festival
- Lise Bach Hansen, Head of programming, Talks & Literature, Royal Danish Library
- Michael Folmer Wessman, Chief Consultant, Danish Chamber of Commerce
- Anni Nørskov Mørch, Chair of Committee, Danish Arts Foundation
To kick off the year on a festive note there will be a musical performance by the singer Fine. She's creating, producing, and mixing music in own name and has achieved significant success as a songwriter on the international stage, including in South Korea, where she has been written songs to the group New Jeans - Songs with more than 350 million streams on Spotify. Fine Glindvad is former known as the lead singer and songwriter for the Danish band Chinah.
