Cultural activity funds for Danish representations and Danish cultural institutes

The Danish Ministry of Culture and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs support international cultural collaboration through a funding scheme regarding the Danish representations and cultural institutions' cultural activities. The purpose of the funding scheme is to support specific cultural activities abroad between Danish and foreign actors. The funding scheme has two annual deadlines in 2024: February 9 and August 23.

The funding scheme is anchored in the Collaboration Agreement between the Danish Ministry of Culture and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Denmark’s international cultural collaboration, which has the following purposes:

• To promote Denmark’s cultural exports abroad
• To promote intercultural dialogue between Danish and foreign actors
• To promote the marketing of Denmark as a country
• To promote innovation in Danish art and culture through international collaboration
