New proposals

UNESCO encourages States Parties to the Convention to nominate sites within their national territory for inclusion on the World Heritage List. 

The Danish Agency for Culture submits proposals for sites in Denmark and Greenland for inclusion on the World Heritage List.

Currently, Denmark has these sites on the tentative list for inscription on the World Heritage List:

• Amalienborg Castle and its districts (culture)
• Moler landscapes of the Liim Fjord (nature)
• The Trelleborg fortresses (culture/transnational)
