The Danish Production Incentive Scheme
The second application round in 2026 will open in late August, with an expected application deadline of 24 September 2026.
The Danish Production Incentive Scheme consists of two sub-schemes, each with two annual application rounds:
- The Live Action Scheme: a scheme for feature films, fiction series, documentary films and documentary series with an annual budget of DKK 100 million.
- The Animated Films and Series Scheme: a scheme for animated films and animated series with an annual budget of DKK 25 million.

Legal framework
On 1 January 2026, the Act on the Production Incentive for Film and Series Production and the Executive Order on the Production Incentive Scheme became effective.
