2020 Year of Danish Reunification

In 2020 it is 100 years since the southern region of Denmark called Sønderjylland was reunited with Denmark. The reunification is marked by a series of events up to 2020 and especially in 2020 the 100th anniversary year of the reunification. The celebrations has an independent secretariat, see webpage below. We aim at creating a high level of coordination between the focus on Germany 2018-2020 initiated by the International Cultural Panel, including the Cultural Danish-German Year of cultural friendship 2020 and the celebrations of the Reunification 2020.
