Cultural seminar

Every year a cultural seminar is held for members of the International Cultural Panel and local employees at the Danish embassies and cultural institutes.

The Cultural Seminar is a closed seminar, established in 2005. It is held annually for the members of the International Cultural Panel i.e. The Ministry of Culture (chairman), the Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Danish Architecture Center, Danish Design Centre, Danish Film Institute, Danish Cultural Institute, the Agency for Culture and Palaces, Danish Arts Foundation, VisitDenmark as well as local employees working with culture at Danish Embassies and Cultural Institutes.

An annual meeting place for those involved in international cultural cooperation

The Cultural Seminar is the one time a year when all actors in international cultural cooperation meet up. The aim is to give time and space for networking activities, knowledge sharing and not least professional updates from the Danish arts and culture scene.

The Cultural Seminar is financed with funds from the cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture. The Agency for Culture and Palaces is the executive planner of the seminar, which is approved by the steering committee.
